Youth ANZAAS

The Youth ANZAAS Program is looking for enthusiastic volunteers to help make the event a success! This program is a great opportunity for young people interested in science to meet like-minded individuals and learn about the latest developments in various scientific fields. Youth ANZAAS is an annual science outreach program run by the Australian and New Zealand Association for the Advancement of Science and the Royal Society of New Zealand, funded by the Federal Department of Education. This year, the program will be held in Melbourne from the 5th to the 10th of July at the University of Melbourne Parkville Campus.

Students, also known as Delegates, come from all across Australia on their school holidays to learn about science and make new friends. This year, students will get to explore the Department of Defence Research, RMIT, Melbourne University, with behind-the-scenes tours of the Walter and Eliza Hall Institute of Medical Research and the Melbourne Museum.

This is a residential program, so volunteers will be staying on the campus during the duration of the program.

All volunteers are required to have a valid Working with Children's Check.

Make sure you get in quick as applications close on the 30/06/2026
