The Young Scientists of Australia acknowledges the Wurundjeri people of the Kulin Nations language groups as the Traditional Custodians of the unceded lands in which we learn, meet and volunteer. We pay our respects to elders past and present. This always was and always will be Aboriginal land.

Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples were the first developers of science and truth-telling and have a deep knowledge of ecology, astronomy, medicine, navigation and fire and water management. The Young Scientists of Australia acknowledge the First Nations peoples’ enduring cultural practice and care of Country and commit to being a culturally safe organisation.
